Yeah, good old EVA. There's always something you didn't notice - because, when you make an anime, you have to draw X-million little pictures. You can pack a TON of imformation in there, but only few animes use that....

Wow, nice find! Just goes to show how much work they really did put into EoE. I definitely want to go through this frame by frame next time I watch it.

Well, after all the claims of EoTV being "cheap", they wanted to make ppl eat their words, I guess. Also, they love their Art.

EoE is now like The Exorcist. I'll never be able to watch it again without paying minute attention to background details in an attempt to see the freaky images in the background.

Oh, those are just decorations. Make sure you don't lose sight of the actual human-survival/comming-of-age-story-with-romantic-subplot story.

Politeness in German works differently than in Japanese; you use the "Sie" form for anyone who you're supposed to use it with (strangers older than their 20s or so, people in any professional setting, teachers) regardless of whether you like them or not. The informal "Du" form indicates closeness rather than anything else; if you address someone as "Sie" it puts up/maintains a social barrier of sorts. It's equivalent to Mr/Mrs except more pervasive.

The title of this thread has inspired me to sing- could I get a Eurodance beat going, please?

#I still hear those screams when I sleep peacefully,
the dis-em-bowelling still haunts my dreams,
forgive me ev-ery-one, but I don’t know why,
I can't understand however I try...

Every time I watch EOE, I get this feeling,
and every time I view it, I swear I could cry.
Can't you see it makes no sense?
How are you so dense?
I can-not let this slide...

Cause the images and themes, are too erratic,
and every Gainax ending? (I swear) they don't even try.
Can't you just let it go?
There's nothing to show.
It was fun til Asuka died...#

:scanners_head: I think my head's broken from all of this. Looks like EVERY FRAME OF THIS FILM IS SIGNIFICANT. Better do the frame-by-frame of this by myself.

Taking the time to actually look at some of those still shots makes them more disturbing in a way.

it's not: "dich töten" (kill you)
it's "das Töten" which would mean (the killing). the "das" is just a form of the. so, it's simply making the verb "töten" (to kill) into the noun "das Töten" (the killing)

just my humble opinion.

I said it's hard to tell what the first word says. Asuka's hair is kind of in the way, it may as well be "das"...

That's weird because I got that feeling that I should buy something Eva after looking at this then had to remind myself that I have figures and don't need any more.
Anywhere can be paradise as long as you have the will to live. After all, you are alive, so you will always have the chance to be happy.

I don't have figures... I prefer plushies. Anyone have any of those, or some pictures they could upload?
