Yeah, good old EVA. There's always something you didn't notice - because, when you make an anime, you have to draw X-million little pictures. You can pack a TON of imformation in there, but only few animes use that....

Well, after all the claims of EoTV being "cheap", they wanted to make ppl eat their words, I guess. Also, they love their Art.

EoE is now like The Exorcist. I'll never be able to watch it again without paying minute attention to background details in an attempt to see the freaky images in the background.

Oh, those are just decorations. Make sure you don't lose sight of the actual human-survival/comming-of-age-story-with-romantic-subplot story.

I think my head's broken from all of this. Looks like EVERY FRAME OF THIS FILM IS SIGNIFICANT. Better do the frame-by-frame of this by myself.

Taking the time to actually look at some of those still shots makes them more disturbing in a way.

it's not: "dich töten" (kill you)
it's "das Töten" which would mean (the killing). the "das" is just a form of the. so, it's simply making the verb "töten" (to kill) into the noun "das Töten" (the killing)



just my humble opinion.

I said it's hard to tell what the first word says. Asuka's hair is kind of in the way, it may as well be "das"...

That's weird because I got that feeling that I should buy something Eva after looking at this then had to remind myself that I have figures and don't need any more.
