MASSIVE FANWANKING WARNING:

I noticed that the image is composed by 5 big rectangles, so I checked the dimensions of the image and they are 1920x4039.
That "1920" was quite suspicious and I decided to do a simple "4039:5" to see if something would come out of this. Well 4039:5 is 808 (actually 807,8, but I rounded it up). So the image could be seen as 5 blocks of 1920x808, which casually turns out to be a classic 2.40:1 aspect ratio, the modern cinematic one used by Q.
I believe that this is the first scene of Shin Eva, with the camera going moving downwards mirroring the end of Q.

I won't change my mind until release date.

EDIT: Just look at it, it's almost the same image seen on a mirror (or the opposite if you count the opposite amount of sky and earth).

If it really is the beginning scene of Shin, then it looks awesome, i mean i can almost imagine it, panning from the sky down (title was shown previously on a black background probably) and stops right where this image is, with Shinji, Asuka and Rei Q seen in the distance.

They even finally took down Anno's over two-year-old letter about how he's going to take a break to make Shin Godzilla.
