My guess is that he starts off with the KH2 outfit and later gets upgraded to the new one (kind of like what happened in KH2.) It doesn't seem to be world-specific because it seems to clash with the world's art style to a degree, and it lacks the campy-ness of the other world-specific outfits in the series.

*EDIT* New info on the world sizes and number of worlds: There are more worlds in planning than there were in KH2!

Confirmed: Halloweentown will not be returning as a world in KH3. This is quite a disappointment for me, since it was my favorite level in the first two games, and I was hoping to revisit it in glorious current-gen graphics.

At least Sora's new default outfit looks awesome.

GUYS! BIG NEWS ABOUT KH3! The world of BIG HERO 6 has been confirmed!!

This is one world I'm really excited for, for as it's connected to the Marvel universe, this may mean we get other Marvel crossovers.

And what's even more interesting is that this world isn't a rehashing of the story, but a continuation of the movie AFTERWARDS:

In which Darkness somehow takes control of Baymax's OLD body from the portal and uses it to fight!

I'm getting more and more excited for this game each reveal.....now if only I had a PS4. :sniffle:

I never got to play DDD, so I am hyped for this!

I do hope they re-release 1.5 and 2.5 for the PS4. They did for the FFX HD remaster, which I'm sure they made bank on, so I'm crossing my fingers that it'ss only a matter of time before they come around to KH again.

The trailer is up! It's just one trailer covering both games. Kingdom Hearts 3 looks absolutely beautiful now, and that music... I hope that's the standard battle music, because it's beautiful.

I've been waiting a decade for this game, and it's so close now that it doesn't even seem real!

And @standard battle music: KH has always had unique battle themes for each world, but certain kinds of engagements use recurring music (like boss battles, intense moments, etc). The music for KH has always been wonderful, and I'm looking forward to a great new variety to enjoy.

I loved the first game. I really did. The second one I liked but I liked it less. Probably because I missed interquel, because it was on different platform and games felt disjointed. But now after all the prequels, time travels, split personalities, alternate versions and reincarnations, this whole thing is so much of a mess, I can't even feel excited about it since I'm so much out of loop and whatever information I have about those games and plot, feels just jarring.

The battle music in the trailer is a (perhaps slightly remixed) version of Rage Awakened, which is the music that plays during Terra's final battle in Birth By Sleep.

I don't want to spoil anything for those of you who are still planning to play BBS at the last minute, but this leads me to believe that the trailer music won't be Kh3's standard battle theme. My guess is that it'll play during one of two possible boss battles.

It was only a matter of time, but the Final Mixes of Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 have been announced as a bundle for the PS4. I'm super excited. I missed out on these when they came out on PS3, and I've always been interested in the bonus content.

Sadly I cannot afford to get this PS4 re-release right away. But I hear improves have been made to Load times, course the ports still have other glaring issues.

After completing the final mix for KH1 again, and getting halfway through RE:Chain of Memories before getting fed up, I've just started playing the final mix for KH2 for the first time. So far, I've got to say that the additional scenes, particularly those involving Organization XIII and DiZ, have really provided a better story experience. Same for those added to the first game as well, I suppose.

Actually, the first game's added abilities are what really made it a worthwhile replay, especially the tech boosts and experience boosts. As much as I love the second game, the first Kingdom Hearts is such a gem. I can't wait for the third.
