Somewhere a few months ago on a random thread here in off topic, the discussion somehow moved to great old video games, and a brief discussion lead to talk about how pokemon red/blue was awesome and the rest is crap. One member here recommended that I look into these two games, as they were GBA remakes of the originals.

That post led me and my sister to purchase these games, and I have been really impressed with how they've kept it the same game, but added newer dialogue and functionality on the gameboy advance (sp for me) that simply wasn't available.. 15 or 20 years ago. The interface was freshened, and theres more description of how the game mechanics work.
