I like the new Battlefront for what it is. I've actually grown quite fond of heroes v villains, and supremacy.

I do however think it's too soon for them to be considering a sequel. Unless it serves as a huge step-up from the current game, giving us things like single player campaign, I don't see what they could add that couldn't simply be an add-on for what we have now. I call easy cash grab.

At least there's that third person action SW game to look forward to.

There are a few things this game did that was pretty interesting, but it cut out so much from it's predecessors that it doesn't make up for it. Yea it might be the singly best looking game out, but just because you decorate a turd doesn't mean it's not a turd.

Now if Starwars Battlefront II(Reboot) makes a gigantic come back and includes all the things that fans wanted and more, that's fine and EA has learned. But I feel like their mentality is if they slap Starwars on it they'll make money regardless which is unfortunately true. And we won't be seeing a change, expect the same game but will as Iron hoped a Republic Vs CIS skin.

^I've seen the way the wind was blowing after what they did to Command & Conquer, although I guess everyone got caught up in all the hype for Battlefront after the big exciting E3 trailer.

Command and Conquer 4 was a failure. And to think the Scrin were suppose to make an appearance.

But yea I doubt Battlefront II(Reboot) will make a come back.

The devs have said SWBF2 will feature content from "the new movies." And in even more worrying news...

Also during the call, Jorgensen said EA plans to release one new Star Wars game every year for the next three to four years.

Well I take back all the optimism I just shared the last few posts.

^I believe it to mean that there will be a new Star Wars game every year for several years, not necessarily Battlefront. If it's different, it's at least worth judging on its own merits.

True, but then again they've already said they have multiple SWBF sequels in the works. I think it's at least going to be an every-other-year thing for them.
