It was to be released on Netflix and Theaters at the same time October 16th, but Considering it a violation of the traditional 90-day release window of exclusivity to theatres, AMC Cinemas, Carmike Cinemas, Cinemark, and Regal Entertainmet (four of the largest theatre chains in the United States) announced that they would boycott the film, making it effectively a limited release only to be released by Bleecker Street.
Film is getting strong possibly universal aclaim.
