Decisive Duck - 1.08 MB

I'm actually a fairly experienced audio remixer. I've made a few pretty good video game remixes, though none of them were ever accepted to ultra-high standard sites such as Overclocked Remix. Despite that, someone who liked my "mad skillz" who knew I was a fan of Evangelion offered to pay me to make a remix of an Evangelion track for him, and he didn't care which track I chose. This was the result. He ended up insulting me and I never got the money.

That story is, of course, a complete fabrication. I just like to think that I made this for some purpose other than self-amusement. This song is a remix that combines two different songs - one is "Decisive Battle" from NGE, and the other is... well... I won't spoil it for you. I'll just say that although the mixing isn't perfect, I was surprised at how well they DID fit together.

See, ordinarily, I'm inclined to just say "what the hell???" and just walk away unhappy, but you managed to creatively salvage my attention span for this. But seriously, wtf?

LOL, That was the greatest thing I've heard in a while...

Here, have an internet. I can't use it anyway, per my probation officer.

I think that's exactly the reaction I was hoping for. :)

As in, "It was totally dumb, but you delivered it with grace and hilarity"?

That was crazy. Not only is Eva (and that tune from it) awesome, but the other song brings on a wave of childhood nostalgia. Oh and it was a crazy remix.

I wouldn't mind hearing some of your game remixes, either. ;)

I was actually joking about being an experienced remixer; this is the first one I've ever really finished. :?

Oh, right. It slipped my mind, I knew the first paragraph was a fabrication, but my mind saw "game remix" and went to town.
