So, I'm up to episode 2 and I'm getting a lot of eerie parallels between Durst and Shinji.
-Born into a family of means.
-Mother dies tragically at a young age under mysterious circumstances
-Father becomes distant and consumed with running an empirical organization.
-Durst runs away a lot after his mother's death.
-Durst becomes antisocial.
-Father and son visit mother's grave annually.
-Father basically guilts son to enter into the family business.

Among the people who use the Internet, many are obtuse. Because they are locked in their rooms, they hang on to that vision which is spreading across the world. But this does not go beyond mere ‘data’. Data without analysis [thinking], which makes you think that you know everything. This complacency is nothing but a trap. Moreover, the sense of values that counters this notion is paralyzed by it.

It has a strong narrative and a powerful ending, but keep in mind that this documentary has been heavily edited to sell that narrative, placing it in the same subgroup as other 'activist documentaries' of the Gasland, Supersizeme, and various Michael Moore joints that are more concerned with propaganda value for an agenda than with strict reporting standards.
