So anyway I've been reading the one punch man manga and it's pretty awesome, this is one of my new favorite manga, I would say it ties for second place with alien 9, rightbelow 7 Billion needles for first.
Anyway I'm looking in the comment section and notice all these people complaining about the manga being slow. But one punchman usually comes out with two chapters a month. This is a lot faster then any other manga I've read online. With bio booster armor guyver for example, you'd be luckyif you even get one chapter a month. So what is it these people are complaining about? Do some manga I dont know of just update a lot fast then what I'm used to and these people are spoiled by it? Or are these guys just being crazy?
What is the average update speed for manga?

Maybe they are used to a schedule of one chapter per week, like One Piece and Bleach adhere to. There's all sorts of Manga, and to me it seems, the more "mainstream" the series, the faster the updates.

^Compared to the most famous titles such as Fairy Tail and Bleach which spew out a chapter every week except on holidays, twice a month is pretty slow.
On the other hand, some other series such as Claymore and Beserk get away with one chapter a month, so it's all relative.
EDIT: Yeah, as robersora said the mainstream titles update very fast whereas the less mainstream ones update more slowly.

Dang I'm just happy to get a quality series twice a month I'm used to waiting a lot longer.Must be nice being a fan of popular manga getting stuff that quick.
If I ever become a millionaire I think I might hire one of those weekly manga artists to do a reboot of parasite galaxy

It depends where the manga is serialized and the frequency of publication. This is why mangaka have to work like dogs even with assistants.
I actually don't mind bimonthly. Been following Battle Angel for years and that was monthly before the latest series switched to biweekly. And partway through Last Order it was on hiatus for 9 months when Kishiro had issues with a Shueisha editor and decided to switch to Kodansha after being at Shueisha for years. Painful but better than the manga being subject to repeated hiatuses like Hunter x Hunter.

There's no real average. Some come out weekly or biweekly; others are updated on a monthly basis. Or it could be something like Hiatus x Hiatus, where it is updated very infrequently at the whim of the mangaka. I'm currently somewhat frustrated over the slow and erratic rate that Berserk's being released at, but when every panel is a work of art it kind of makes since.
In fact, the Evangelion manga is one that Sadamoto updated fairly infrequently, so it makes since that many on this site may be used to that.
People complain about the rate One-Punch Man is being released?
