ATLUS announced that we're getting a 3DS updated port of Devil Survivor 2 in the form of Break Record. The game is supposed to have an extra day of the story, a new mysterious female character and new demons to fuse. This game went on a hiatus for like a year so I'm glad it didn't get canned. Interestingly, since the character designs are made by the same guy who made the designs for Durarara, it seems Izaya, Shizuo and Celty will make a guest appearance in the game! I really hope they make it into the localized version too!

I recall reading that Atlus USA PR said not to get hopes up for the DRRR characters to make it into the NA version of Record breaker due to licensing issues.

also the English version of the game is going to be called Record breaker and that is set to come out on April 7th

Yeah and that sucks. I feel we're past the point where releases outside of Japan cut content out. I feel if a game is brought overseas then it better be complete. I still have faith in atlus though, maybe they'll come through.

Much better than the first game. Also, they are not related, so you can play 2 before you play 1 (completely different stories and characters)

Be warned though, the game is hard! I had to do dozens of resets on my first playthrough.
