I was reluctant to watch Rick and Morty because Dan Harmon co-created it. I liked the first two seasons of Community, but not so much the last three. I gave it a try and ended up liking it. Sometimes it can get kind of annoying with the voices and mannerisms and speech patterns of Rick and Morty, but usually it adds to the humor. Looking forward to season 2, hopefully they have more than just 11 episodes this time around.

I re-watched the first season and realized that I'd managed to skip over an entire episode on the first go around. It was the one where Morty made a half-alien baby with that Robocop-looking sexdroid and Rick + Beth visited the home planet of said alien baby's species. Good episode.
Really enjoyed the first two episodes of the new season.
I liked S1 much more on this second viewing than I did the first. I kind of needed to watch something light and funny, so that probably had something to do with it.

The ending of the episode with Unity was better. This one was okay.

I think this much has been confirmed. I recall one of the writers saying on reddit that season introduced the setting, season 2 developed the characters, and season 3 is supposed to resolve the plot points from 1 and 2. I may be remembering incorrectly, though.
