The kind of Evangelion game that I'm looking for is like in the series, that is, robots battling the crap out of each other until one's defeated.

I've tried the following games:
1) Zone of the Enders [PS2]
2) War of the Monsters [PS2]
3) Tech Romancer [DC]
4) Gundam Breaker [PS3]
5) Evangelion Battle Orchestra [PSP] (it was like playing a mediocre ripoff of Smash Bros.)
6) Evangelion 64 [N64]

And the problem is that none of these recreate the experience of the show itself, but hope that an Eva fan somewhere can help me out on this journey.
