Good posting history as in, don't post spammy/trolling stuff and like Monkey wrote, be a cool-dude(tte). There are plenty of members who might be infrequent posters but still make good contributions, so how often you post doesn't matter, as long as you're not posting just for the sake of getting quickly through the posting ranks.

I remember I posted a lot in the first 2-3 years I joined, because I had so many questions/thoughts about Eva, and before I knew it, Reichu and I would be on and off tied for posting the most. -o-; Just check out total posts and descending.

It's kind of like a pilot's call sign: they aren't actually cool nicknames, they reference incredibly stupid things the pilot has done in his career.
