You know what would suck? If the preview was just the Children walking through the desert and all you can see is their legs while they walk

I'm curious if Kaworu will be in the preview. They've spent two movies putting him in important scenes, and a third where he was a major character; I'd be shocked if he isn't mentioned again. It would also be good fangirl bait.

You know I'd like that, in fact, I think a nice idea would be that instead of Rei/Lilith talking to Shinji throughout Instrumentality, Kaworu/Adam should be the one to do it this time around, if they do indeed do Instrumentality this time.

I hope Anno goes for shock value this time around. I want to be wowed and amazed before I devote all my time to analyzing the shit out of it, not be frustrated that it was mundane and then have to spend all my time making it less mundane.

But isn’t shock value in it of itself yet another aspect of mundanity?

I mean, sure, Anno can go for the whole shock value again. Remember though, we already had quite a shock in Q. It’s really not a question of whether or not Eva can get anymore more shocking, but rather whether or not it should. To continually add twist upon twist or shock upon shock runs the risk of becoming overwhelming. When everything is shocking, then it renders everything shock-less.

I guess I phrased that badly-- I want this trailer to wow me, twist or no twist. This early in the game, I want to be hyped because FINAL looks awesome.
