Oh!
CN Anime is on the 27th-29th.
CN is Toronto's, if not canada's biggest Anime/Sci-fi/Comic/Horror convention.
Anybody in the Toronto or GTA area should stop by.
Richmond Hill's anime society will be there (myself included).
Big guests include Yoshitoshi ABE, Scott McNeil, and...well, the rest of Canada's big Anime VAs.
CN Anime, anybody coming?

Hehe. I refused to dress up.
I was kind of disappointed tho, because CNA never had any interesting guests, imo.
There's always those canadian VA's that draw in the fangirls for whatever reason.
Other than that, they'd better have the Eva wallscroll I'm after. I'm not waiting in line for nothing.
Worst to worst, I'll just have to snag it online.
Tho that kind of ruins the whole 'convention excitement'

Rest assured.
The dealer's section of the con is always huge.
A dealer's room to rival other big cons like...um,
Otakon's room is bigger...
Katsukon's room is bigger...
uh...well, let's just say it's really big.
They'll have Eva wall scrolls for sure.
Personally, I'm holding out for EoE action figures and Platinum Edition DVD 8)

The other reason is because Asuka convinced me not to go. I think she's scared of meeting me.
I'm glaring at you right now.
How did I convince you not to? Aside from threatening to kill you on numerous occasions? lol
I mean, if you know what you want and where to look, and if you get there reeeeeally early, then you're going to have a good time and find some good merch.
If you get there late, then you wait in a line that wraps around the whole bloody building. Not fun.
If you dont know what you're looking for and where to find it, you'll never get it because someone else will have snagged it.
So it's kind of a gamble, I find at least.
Each of the last 3 years we attended CNA, we've won some and we've lost some... sooo ya. The thing I really don't like, is the Sci-Fi Con it's paired with... :?
At most, I'm just going to be paying to get in... since, as previously stated, their prices are usually a little high. I'll just scope out some neat items then hunt them down online.
And there we have my true feelings on the matter.
Summary: I vill go for ze "thrill" of being surrounded by weird/cool things, and to view the cosplayah'z... then giggle at them....
