Thumbnail works for me on up-to-date Opera. Takes a bit to load, though. Forced my computer's fans up a notch, too.

That's odd. Inspecting the image element, it does have class "quotedimage"

but the applied CSS rule is from global.css line 7

[code:1].quote img {
max-width: 175px;
max-height: 175px;
}[/code:1]

The other rule in that CSS file is

[code:1]#quotedimage {
max-width: 175px;
max-height: 175px;
overflow: auto;
}[/code:1]

which has applicability to an element with id="quotedimage"; it should have been

[code:1].quotedimage {
max-width: 175px;
max-height: 175px;
overflow: auto;
}[/code:1]

which would do instead.

Yep, works fine for me.

I am however now left wondering why images are spoilered in the pic threads but not in moonwalk which is also a pic/vid thread. Specifically, why we're bothering with the spoilers in the first place now that we have the very convenient auto-scaling option in place. Is it time to let those thread-specific rules die (with an exception for NSFW materials, but that should probably be a global rule anyway)?

People kept getting their panties in a bunch because they were seeing pictures that they didn't like (seriously). After like the 10th argument that broke out, the stop-gap solution of putting all images in spoiler tags had to be implemented.

The latter. I'm surprised you don't remember the last one, there was a relative shitstorm about KawoShin art. Shinchan got a lot of needless shit.

There have also been complaints when the spoiler tags didn't have an explicit enough description of the content. Given some of the things that get put there, I can see the point...

I pretty much never went to that thread until it became my duty to keep an eye on it. I do vaguelly remember that shitstorm though, now that you mention it.

And honestly, my take on that is as long as it's not NSFW people need to just get over it. Tolerance of others should be a basic requirement of being here, period.

I have no issue with Kaworu/Shinji, maid!Shinji, and whatever else HyperShinchan used to post, but I strongly prefer that the perverted fetish stuff, which while not exactly common isn't rare, be required to have a very clear warning.

This is a very happy medium between displaying full images and urls. Great job, guys!

EDIT: And the thumbnails even open the images in separate tabs when clicked! I've wanted something like this for a long time!
