It's not long, but there's a short interview of Miyamaura done recently that confirms (or at least, repeats) some of the behind the scene tidbits we know about (like how Rebulid's "atmosphere [was] so light" or the story about the strangling in EOE, though Miyamura, or the translator, said it was in Death and Rebirth), so I figure I share.

The interview has it that she was strangled in Death and Rebirth and that it was apparently for verisimilitude. I'd heard that it happened in EoE and they were overcome with emotion - as in, Megumi Ogata strangled Miyamura out of sheer frustration.
