While posting this post I got an error to the tune of "there's an error related to the picture linked in your post". Solved the problem by spoilering the pic so I assume the error was a "this image is huge, better make sure it doesn't break tables" thing. Am I right? and if so what's the maximal image size that won't throw up this error?
Nothing is so valuable that it need not be started afresh, nothing is so rich that it need not be enriched constantly.

The forum code goes out to pre-fetch the image to get size information for in-line images, so if the image host is not responsive at the time, that fetch will fail, leading to that sort of error. The details will be in one of the threads in this sub-forum, and some years ago.

I seem to remember Ornette talking about this before, but does EvaGeeks utilize an older version of phpBB? I just tried making a post with image resizing and YouTube tags and neither of them worked.
