FanFiction.net is alive and well, EvaFics.org appears to have some sort of SQL error, preventing anyone from viewing it. Simple technical difficulties, which will most likely be resolved in time.

Hey, EM, are you gonna start archiving those as well?

Evafics.org is back up and running.

It has been my desire to archive as much of the entirety of Eva fandom as possible. However, I'm not certain how to go about that, at least not until I have some sort of system for submitting and archiving fan fiction.

The bad stuff can be... entertaining as well. You could have a poll ratings system, like Amazon.com. Just keep the treasures in a special locker.

I think rather than separating good and bad, there ought to be a separation between long and short. Sometimes they just keep going and going, and you just want your life back. Oh, a plague indeed.

I just can't archive people's fan fiction outright. It takes a lot of email to get permission.

A lot of email. Aside from the author's permission, what else do you need?

Maybe if you had a footnote saying that "This fanfiction was originally archived at so-and-so's.com," people might even be willing to donate it to your site and just have a one-stop for Eva fiction.
