Actually, Haruko as an angel in Evangelion, being with Shinji would be rather interesting. It would fit Shinji's personality well, and cause similair problems that she caused in FLCL, perhaps, though more mentally corrupt. This is obviously fake, but I actually wouldn't mind something like that happening. As long as she was more serious, and not as wacky, and didn't take away from the EVA plot and mood.

Holy swiss cheese on a stick batman! Theres no way in hell this is real, and if it is real I guess gainax made a monkey out of all of us! Haruko is my favorite female anime character so i wouldnt mind seeing more of her, but Im not sure if bringing her into eva would be the best idea.

Those little image blurbs are just from the old series.
We haven't actually seen ONE image from this yet.
Which makes me ask:
Do you think they'd have the balls to physically change the appearance of the characters? I mean Rei would stay blue haired, red eyed but would the style in which she's drawn be done different?
All I ask is no physically impossible big tittied women with Eva waists.

While it would be nice to contemplate the idea of Rei and Asuka looking more like Haruhi from Ouran, this is Gainax, home of the eponymous bounce, and with a track record in recent years of using tits instead of (as opposed to the previous "as well as") story.
Shinji and Kaworu looking like Mizuho from Otome wa Trap or Jun from HasPenis, that I could well imagine.

Well, we know that Sadamoto is doing the designs again, right?
And Sadamoto, as good as he is, has a pretty recognizable style. So I expect this series to look like a more polished (and digitally inked?) version of the original.

heh, i was fooled by the image cause I actually think it's not a bad idea-- Eva's already finished, so some kind of Gainax mashup might be pretty fun.

I've heard that some other guy is doing the character designs. I don't remember who, but somebody posted a source in another thread ("More Eva", I think).
