I dunno where best to put this, so I figured here might be a good middle ground, especially since it references Eva.
Plan C/"Take Care of Yourself".
This sucked up more of my time than I'd like to admit.

Yeah, I'm sorry I mispelled it, if it really bothers you, I can reencode it (though I'd rather not since I'd have to re-spread the new link)
You're in special thanks because one of the gags (used only in the story board sequence, but will hopefully be spoken in the next version) is 「あんた、ジャイブの穴の七面鳥?!」

I've had my name misspelled by various people since the dawn of time -- usually happens when someone already knows a "Rachael" (as opposed to a "Rachel"). I'd prefer to be credited as "Rachel K. Clark", if it's at all possible. ("Rachel Clark"s are a dime a dozen.)

Ohhhh... there it is!
What's the story behind this video, anyway?

What's the story behind this video, anyway?
Well, I'll be sure to correct it for the DVD and festival versions. And the 3 revisions to come.
Well, the version you have watched took 1 and 1/2 months to go from concept to that version. The original inspiration, was the fact that I want to make a piece that involves 3 similtaneous screens used to recreate a room, so as to attempt to literally imerse the viewer into the work. That and when I declared glomping illegal.
The only restriction I was given for this project was that it must be shot in HD. Madeleine Gallagher, a teacher of mine last year, and a teacher of mine next semester, was an enormous help in just trying to get me moving in one direction.
My thoughts and memories of the experience are muddled due to sleep deprivation over that period of time, and panic. I kept a a blog about it though, if you're truly interested. Intermixed in there are things regaurding a project of mine called Underground, which is a take off on Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, influenced by the photography of Charles Dodgson, the asthetic of video, and a tiny bit on the stages of grief.
Plan C/"Take Care of Yourself" is part of a plan to make art based around Otaku culture. The story will appear again, next time with the store sequence shot, and without the congratulations ending, as Fiddle Sticks (the single screen version, to be also put on YouTube), Fiddle Sticks (true) (the "super-wide" version that'll show all 3 video streams at one, and have 5.1 stereo surround. It will not be on YouTube due to the limitations of the service) and Fiddle Sticks (true^2) (a 3 screen installation piece with 5.1 stereo surround. At best, documentation of the work will make it to YouTube.)
EDIT===
Bonus points to whoever can figure out who I play in the piece

Are you so sure now that I'm male?
It's ok, most people confuse my gender. I was the director and writer of the piece, and I acted in it, though not the main character, that was my friend Joan.
Fun fact, Sean is both a boys and girls name, and according to Think Baby Names, it's a common one.
Notice in this post I have not specified my gender?

What?
Anyway, A hermaphrodite is not someone who is both male and female at the same time, they just have both male and female genitals.
The question that comes into to play now though, as this leads to a loaded argument, is what determines gender, but this is neither the time nor place, I think...

Hehe, there's only two people in the country with my name according to that site.

Or a guy who believes that Kaworu's unconditional love for Shinji transcends species and gender. That and that while I feel sorry for Asuka, I still like Kaworu better.
What I also think is funny, is people keep confusing my gender in real life too. :P
