At this point, it's looking more and more likely that Amon doesn't remove bending, but steals it. He's not some second "Avatar," but he'll definitely be able to go toe to toe with Avatar State Korra if he can bend three elements.

Asami's cool, but she has one big major character flaw that could get her killed: she's in a relationship with Mako. I mean, seriously, can't that bloke just make up his mind? Asami appears rather "evil" to me. TBH, I thought she was to be a femme fatale.

And here's two things that give me disconnect; Mako parents were killed by a firebender, but he doesn't hate himself for having the same power, and Asami's mother was killed by a firebender, but she doesn't fear nor resent firebenders in particular. Also, why are all the family killers firebenders?

He's sending a group of battleships against bombers in a harbor. That is quite literally the second worse naval situation out there. The only way it could be worse is if the harbor was mined.

I think that will still kick more butt than Korra.

Unless there weren't benders on the ships. Then yeah, even Korra could stand a fighting chance against those guys.

Genetics is hardly a marker of greatness. If it was true the Soviet Union would have fallen shortly after Rommel and Patton's sons became friends. Still, surely someone in change of such a large force must be competent in their duties, even if they are commanding a multinational force . . . during peacetime . . . following a period of military cutbacks . . . *sigh* They're doomed.
