Those F-type armor pics are for the Eva2 game, the solo pics of the Children with their Eva and Misato with Lilith is from the booklet for Refrian of Evangelion (Best Of CD), the 3 Children with their Eva behind them comes from the cover for the PSP version of the Eva2 game, and those Rei & Asuka pics are for the Ayanami with Asuka Raising Project game. (Asuka and Rei sitting down in their school outfits with their Eva behind them is the original game cover; the picture with them hugging in their Plugsuits comes from the Broccoli Best Quality release What I own.), those pics of Shinji and the others are from Shinji Ikari Raising Project, and the picture of the 3 Children with Misato, Kaji and two new characters is from the Secret of Evangelion game.

Has my complete and utter geekiness for Eva served the fandom well yet?

Huh? I'm not sure what you're saying here. Do you mean that first pic he posted, the one with the kids and Gendou? (PS2 cover for Eva2). Because it doesn't look like Sadamoto's style and his initials aren't anywhere...

Nice, those first few pics look like they're from either Eva2 or Rebuild with how the character designs look.

I really need to get this book! Is there at all a version in english, like Der Mond was?

Its all images there is 1 page of text and i never bothered looking at it. 99% of that book is all images like the photos. Im sure that the last page is translated somewhere

Are there any online stores that might still sell Die Sterne Ver.2.0 besides Ebay? I tried googling but couldn't come up with much, seems like it's OOP, just like version 1? (Which I own, but might eventually sell).

If anybody has a ballpark of a decent price to buy it at, that'd be cool too. Thanks!

Die Sterne 1.0 is listed as out of print, but Die Sterne 2.0 is listed for 2,940 yen on the publisher's site, but once you click on it, it says not in stock.

There's no order button either. So make of that as you will regarding if it's out of print or not, or just temporarily postponed...

Though, you'll probably not going to find NEW for less than $90, and even the USED editions will be killer.

Amazon.co.jp is always a good place to start, and I'd say ￥2,940 is a pretty decent price.

I've been starting to regret selling my Die Sterne (the original) several years back, that book really was beautiful. :( Hope its current owner is treasuring it. I found a copy around $28 used in good condition plus $4 shipping (from Japan) on Amazon...Everything else (used) is $30+, brand spanking new is $80 (no thanks).

I'm well aware it's just NGE illustrations (no NTE-style stuff) and I'm fine with that.
