I read somewhere that it came on at 7:30 P.M.

All I know for sure is it was in prime time.

God! can you imagine a show like Evangelion on in prime time?
I can see it...

Japanese father: Alright everyone! come on, Evangelion is almost on!
Japanese kids: Yeah! Evangelion!

Actually, I recall hearing from someone that it originally aired at about 5:00 p.m., that is, kiddie primetime. Midway through the series however, they had to move it back to a later time because of the unperdictability of the content, which was still being ironed out as the show went along.

That could just be a rumor, though.

I think that would rock! To see Japanese commericals within the show would be cool. Hey kids! Get your Kaworu action figure now - his head is detachable! Create your own decapitation scene!
