FavIcon?

Is that the exact term? You know, that little icon beside the 'home' button, which appears in the bookmark toolbar? Maybe you could design one; if I recall, you've taken an art course in college, right? It's not really important, but it would up the 'cool factor' of the site. Just a thought.
In my case, I refuse to go easy on the ignorant, regardless of degree. Hitler was ignorant. Joshua C. Whatshisface is ignorant. To me, they're in the same category of ignorant and stupid people who should have been left in some isolated corner of the world where they couldn't bother anyone. --The Eva Monkey

I made one. I stuck it in there. It should work. But I'm not seeing it.

Curses.

www.evamonkey.com <-- There I can see the FavIcon.
If you copy it also in the "root-directory" of forums.evamonkey.com then it should also be visible in the forum.

It's in the root directory of the forums and the site, and for good measure, I put it in the directory above public_html.

I still can't see it.

Really? Oo
I still can't see it. And if I type http://evageeks.org/forum/favicon.ico in the adressbar I only get the 404-error page.

public_html? Does I smell a M$ server?
*sniffs the HTTP-trafic with ethereal*
Ok, Apache :)
BTW: The following files are missing (when the 404-error page is loaded):
[code:1]/sniffer.js
/custom.js
/style.js
/stylesheet2.css
/menu.js
/header_1.jpg
/header_2.gif
/header_3.gif
/spacer.gif[/code:1]

Working for evamonkey.com/forums ... not on forums.evamonkey.com

If all else fails, adding the following as the last line of the <head>

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://evamonkey.com/favicon.ico" />

would force the issue.

It took me a while to think of that, but I have it in there, and it works.

Yay, I learned something today. Shame those icons are so damn small, you can't really do anything with them.
