nonsense sir, and considering my spelling i must have been slightly buzzed when i wrote that. but the lessons here are:

1.) fourum roleplaying can be funny but confusing to those who don't get the joke.

Ah good point, now that you frame it that way it does seem to be a definite plot in the show which reaches it's crescendo at the end of episode 24: The death of KawKaw in his bishi form at the hands of his love essentially serves as a metaphor for the renunciation of TabPen's pursuit of Shin-chan, along that vein when we finally see him again he is once again a penguin.

That said the manga is a different story though, it seems that PenPen is unable to accept any one but himself being with Shinji(going as far as to express satisfaction at Rei and Asuka being forced out of the picture), and he can't get past his own desires, as a result KawKaw's more blind pursuit of his puppy ends up repulsing him despite what attraction he might have had to Pen^2's bishi form. In the end it seems that KawKaw forces Puppy-kun to kill him in a rather sick way to make Shinji remember him, after wards Shinji admits that he really did like him and we never see PenPen again showing that like Misato said he didn't want to live.

He did. During pre-instrumentality, during Shinji and Asuka's fight in the kitchen, Pen-Pen is seen observing.

Unless you meant Shinji as a Transition Guide.

this is just a joke right? pen pen is just a pet, the last hot spring penguin Misato owns. pen pen maybe is in love with Shinji, and u argued it with strong evidence and persuasion,

i think pen-pen is just created by mr. Sadamoto to reinforce and add to effect the horrid feelings of the 2nd impact, showing that there is only 1 last penguin, and he is in love with Shinji, living with the careless Misato, yea sure Misato takes care of pen pen for her own benefit, like how she used everybody else at least one point d uring the series. i really think this topic is a joke and its a damn good one

i'm in no position to question your expertise, im talking way out of line like this, i apologize but i still have to say, i agree with all the part except i dont believe that pen-pen exist to be Shinji's lover, but instead i believe this is a joke, i think its ridiculous to come out with these, so i thought its funny, but im quite suprised when i saw the replies to my post... i was merely sharing my opinion on the explanations and didnt noe it was serious right now im very confused
