Honestly I found this parody too be much funnier than ReDeath, but honestly what is funnier than SEELE playing DnD?

It's in three parts

First Part

Second Part

The most impressive part of this is that it was made in 1997, when the series was more or less brand new (was it even out on VHS in the US yet?) and, more importantly, the video editing hardware to do this kind of work was still really expensive.

In case anyone couldn't figure it out, by the way:
CJAS = Cornell Japanese Anime Society
Slope Day = ridiculously huge annual last day of classes concert and party

It's not as coherent as ReDeath, but still really good.

I realised while watching the first part, that the scene with Gendo and SEELE, they used the music that was in X/1999. Odd for that song to be in Evangelion, but I thought it filled in nice with the scene.

Teddy: We could always sell Girl Scout cookies, but the crumbs keep getting stuck in my mustache.

Gendo: That is a fake mustache. XD.
Spike Spiegel: Look at my eyes, Faye. One of them is a fake because I lost it in an accident. Since then, I've been seeing the past in one eye and the present in the other. So, I thought I could only see patches of reality, never the whole picture. I felt like I was watching a dream I could never wake up from. Before I knew it, the dream was over.

ReDeath ReDux fixed most of the original's audio and video problems, and reworked a couple of jokes.

I gotta give this a thumbs down. I really didn't think it was funny at all.
