So, I guess you can say this is visual novel is released in honor of Asuka-chan's birthday... Although this happens to be about Rebuild. This was a long time coming, real life kept pushing it back.
In this fan fiction style visual novel, you take on the role of Shinji Ikari during the events of Evangelion 2.0 (includes original content about Evangelion 3.0).*
Depending on how you play, various good or bad endings can occur.
*2014 Note: Gotta love how 3.0 proved everybody wrong, eh?

IMPORTANT NOTE: You should be able to save/load any time and adjust the game screen accordingly. You'll need the fmodex.dll file from the latest Visual Novelty download to get the game to work. You also might need the d3dx9_37.dll file to properly play the game. Be sure these files are in the same folder that you have the game saved into.
EDIT: Instead of d3dx9_37.dll, make sure you have DirectX (Latest version) installed!
Because Visual Novelty is beta-mode, running the 2.22 game might be somewhat buggy (mainly with transition effects). Hopefully future releases will help fix such problems.

This is just meant to be for fun, so please don't take the game too seriously.
I was actually influenced by a few different things with this game. Mainly 2.22 itself, some aspects of the Eva2 game and sort of Persona 3, in a way. Maybe you'll see what I mean once you play the game. Or not, I'm probably just being a weirdo.
Anyway, yes, you can get a few different Bad Ends throughout the game, though they're somewhat obvious. (Heh, I sort of feel like I turned Shinji into some shoujo/Usagi-like lead with some of the endings near the end.)
[s](As an aside, I also have an idea for a visual novel that's AUish regarding episode 24', but that one will take awhile. On and off in the works is a little post-EoE Asuka/Shinji game but it's taking awhile because I don't have all the needed materials for it.)[/s]
The length of this game should be about a half-hour (ironic considering how long it took me to make the damn thing! ) although I guess that depends on how long you take to scroll through things.
The volume and sound effects might be somewhat loud, just as a precaution for any folks who use headphones. I double-checked playing the game before this release. If something acts up, please report any problems or other comments here.
Enjoy!
