In NGE (original series), NERV branch 02 was located in Nevada. Is that still true for 2.22 or no?

Well, we see a truck/logo cleary saying NERV 2nd Branch USA in 2.22

And when they move Evangelion 03 they fly over canyons, so yeah, I´d say so.

I always assumed he was referring to Fuyutsuki, considering Fuyutsuki was the one who noticed him, and that he looks much more like Fuyutsuki than Gendo.

The base from which they launch Eva-03 is most likely in Nevada, yes. If my memory is correct (can't provide pictures, hard drive died on me without backup, and i have yet to muster the will to start downloading 2.22 again), they used Red Rock Canyon as a geographical indicator.

However, that base can't possibly be the same one where Eva-04 exploded since... well, that exploded. If you turn up the gamma/brightness level during the shot of Eva-04 blowing up, you can see that the site of the incident was somewhere in the Appalachian Mountains.

So, Eva-03's "homeport" was in Nevada, Eva-04's was somewhere around Pennsylvania, New York.... somewhere there (maybe Massachusetts?).

BTW, was Golgotha base confirmed as Nerv branch 01 in the booklet, or did you just make the assumption because it was given, in-movie, as the location where the Dummy Sytem was built?

@SaltyJoe. Right. So we´d better say there are 2 branches in the USA? I dont know. Eva 03 and 04 could have been seperated for testing purposes. And when they moved Eva 03... where did they go? What´s shorter from the US-eastcoast to japan? Flying west over the rest of the US and the ocean or flying east across the ocean, europe and asia?

Golgatha is also the place were Jesus was supposed to have been crucified. Parallel to Lilith and so on.

Should they have to transport them directly to Japan, they have to fly the carriers over the pole.

I tried to get a screenshot from my 1.11 Blu-ray, but to no avail. When I take a screenshot and paste it into MS Paint, all I get is a wall of dark purple. Anyone else have this problem? I'm guessing it's some sort of anti-piracy gimmick. For what it's worth, you can't see it much clearer in 1080p. Doesn't look like any language I've ever seen.

It´s before the fight with the 6th Angel when Misato takes Shinji down to Lilith... there is something written above and below the SEELE logo. Maybe babylonian again?
