Slow or non-loading graphics on the main page...

Ever since the new and improved front end has been put in place I have experienced slow / non-loading pics. I'm using IE 6.0 with SP2. I've had to refresh and navigate my mouse around just to expose the links to the other areas in the site.

No problems at the client side here (Firefox 1.5); though there are a few glitches with the mark-up (the most obvious being a chunk of header adrift in the page body; the rest fairly trivial nits, some of them due to Blogger), I am pleased to see the adoption of a much lighter weight CSS-based design.

I really should switch to FF but since I do surf on various machines, the standard browser is predominantly IE.

I wonder if it's some issue between IE new CSS-based design.

Hm..

I'm running the same configurations as you, digital(IE 6.0, SP2) and the main page loads fine for me.

I wonder if it has something to do with the internet connection then. I just plugged in a WLAN card along with my LAN and now the pages seem to be loading fine. I don't know what kind of coincidence there may be.

I'll see how things are on my home PC later.

I really, really like the new design...

but how about an RSS feed?

I hardly ever visit the front page so I don't notice when new stories go up.

I can see that you're using Blogger somehow, so it seems like that functionality would be built-in.

Asuka... *happy sigh*

The page seems to load fine to me, and I'm running IE 6.0 SP2 for the moment, too.

I'm on Opera 8.5, and while it seems to be loading properly, the drop-down menus don't have their iwn backgrounds; just the black test on top of whatever was beneath. This makes them somewhat hard to read. Not major, but kinda annoying.

For Opera read non-IE

BTW, the 404 page is still mainly in the old look and feel, and the inserted menus appear at unusual places, on top of the line "You;ve found a broken link..."

THe site loaded for me fine until today, now I get a list of erros but all the buttons that connect to other parts of the site work, one time it came up with the old design with Kaworu.
