Any news on this new anime from the beloved makers of eva?

I remember a bit of information back in augest and then nothing.
There was an EVA Nerd here, but now he's gone.

Originally slated for release in 2005, they even had a website that no longer exists. It might be safe to assume that they quietly gave it the axe.

That's what I've been left to believe as well. I'm somewhat dissapointed. Bushilord sounded (from what little I heard) to be an ambitious project. And given some of the mediocrity of late, I was hoping for the best. But, it seems the project is indeed no more, and Gainax has gone back to NOT making Aoki Uru.
