Hey all! Been lurking for a while, first time poster :)

I've been watching Evangelion since the tender young age of 16. And re-watching, and re-watching. Yep, I'm one of THOSE fans! I've been getting back into the fray due to a nostalgia kick inspired by the Rebuild films (which I don't rate much, but whatever).

Yay, let's evageek together! And things.

Wow, I'm just amazed at how deep and close this forum is, and altogether, impressed by the discussions, as soon as i found out that there is a community that feels the way i do, and actually takes the time to discuss and argue what happens next in the series, and why certain things are done- just amazes me. Had to get in on this!

Anyway, I'm about 17 been watching since i was 13, my first exposure was watching eps 1-26 of eva(in English unfortunately) on the 'Anime Network on Demand" What surprised me was how deep the story line went and although the series ran only 26 eps it has proven that you don't need a 300 eps series to make a good anime.

So yeah I'm pretty excited to become active on such a great forum.
As always, looking forward to future eva projects GAINAX has in store!

I'm new HERE, but a long time lurker and a former EVA LA forum member at the old trivialbeing. Wasn't the most active, but maybe someone will remember :P.

I'm new to the EVA series, and very much enjoyed watching it. Now that im at the peak of my abscission I want to model something >.< .

The last "abscission" was Avatar lol, but didn't last long enough to finish what I started :-/. I used Mudbox first using the basic human template, then started modifying the model in 3ds on the ears, noise, hands and feet. Mas Effect got my interest for awhile and started throwing together a scene with tali (model extracted from the game). I havent been on my DA for awhile to add anything new, but heres a render of the scene (its a little old):


I'm still not all that great at 3d, and theirs so much to learn >.<, I just have pressure myself to getting stuff done lol :-/.
