What's YOUR favorite Angel battle throughout NGE (just the TV series)?
Personally, I liked the Israfel battle the most. It was so perfectly coordinated, and I think it was the battle that was closest to what was planned. The lack of other audio (e.g., Misato was mouthing words, but you couldn't hear what she was saying) made everything so much more awesome. And don't forget the epic background music. The whole battle was just amazing, especially the synchronized drop kick at the very end (and the subsequent red frame at the moment of impact).
