Hopefully it'll increase membership and will be a good introduction to the eva monkey forums, however I can see it distracting some peeps from the more serious discussions... Crazyman46 is gonna love this ; )

Not having an off-topic section turned me off from this forum after awhile because I wanted to discuss more than Evangelion with the members here. I appreciate the section being added. Thanks Eva Monkey.

I agree with the others. I think this will help retain and attract more members. They can see the "other" side of the Eva fans.

For the record, I didn't want to create off topic sections on the board because I wanted to keep this forum in the interest of Evangelion. But, I realized that without some off topic, there was no outlet for off topic discussion, so I decided to see if allowing that in a secluded section would help promote on topic discussion elsewhere on the board.

But, yeah. New forum. Use it, but be sure to frequent the rest of the board as well.
