Mainly because Zack Snyder himself has admitted there's gonna be like 5 different releases over the next year.

Monsters vs. Aliens beat it on it opeaing weekend which is no big suprise since it a Rated PG movie and does not have a long runing time.

I only went to see it b/c My Chemical Romance had a song in it :3

I kid I kid. Jackie Earle Haley was great. And it's always nice to see what is essentially the gross domestic product of starving Africa spent on a pretty juvenile film that betrays the intelligence of the original graphic novel.

The best bit in the film was the Dr. Mahnattan backstory. Though that's all thanks to Philip Glass's music from Koyaanisqatsi they used.

This week we get some REAL films- DRAG ME TO HELL and UP!!!!!

If Watchmen can show us Dr. Manhattan's giant glowing penis, then the next logical step is LAEM which will get us Rei's giant glowing boobs (which I'm sure that the men in the audience will be much more receptive to).

with the DC of the film I only hope that the original ending (i.e. comic ending) is in it instead of the theatrical one. that pissed me off, i walked out of the theater. i'm a purist :/
