You may have heard Shin-seiki or Reichu mention that Shin-seiki has been working on a essay that will blow the lid of of Ritsuko's true motivations in Ep. 23, 24, & EOE. Well, for the last 17 days he has been posting his ground-breaking revelations here:

holy shit this stuff is quite amazing... this takes some talent man - or just a serious case of NGE obsessivness - but hey that involves all of us.
ok so just maybe anno didn't actually make such an effort to cram that massive shit-load of info. into every single line and image. this must be taken into account. i love this, but anno may not deserve all of the credit for what has been decided to reside in the show.
