Me? Two weeks ago, I got the chance to meet Tiffany Grant and Yuko Miyamura at Kawaii Kon 2008. I got those two to sign my End of Evangelion DVD.

Have you met any of the voice actors or actresses?

Zeak recently met Spike at a convention and got his autograph and his views on RE-take.

I hope Spike comes to next year's Kawaii Kon.

well, just a word of warning to the n00bs of EGF, most people here never took very kindly to the likes of Grant or Lee (Tiffany and Amanda Win, NOT Ulysses or Robert )

there's nothing wrong with them as far as i'm sure they're nice folk. i mean there is a big difference between grant sucks and grants portrayal of Asuka sucks.

Well...I'm a n00b here, and I never took kindly to them, either...although for pure comedy's sake (some of it even intentional comedy!), I liked Lee's EoE commentary.

Still, I'd be happier to meet any of them than I would Sean McCoy...that guy sucked.

Well, I was at a panel where Tiffany interviewed Yuko w/ her personal translator and then they moved on to Q & A with the fans. As for Rebuild, I think they only mentioned that Yuko has been working on it recently. To be honest, I can't remember everything that happened, sorry folks.

What kind of information from the Q&A do you want to know about?

During the panel, Tiffany and Yuko expressed their hatred towards Shinji. One fan asked, "Don't any of you two have feelings for Shinji at all?"

Tiffany: NO!
Yuko: Me too! *laughs*
Yuko's Personal Translator: Yuko feels the same way as Tiffany *laughs*

That was funny. I ask them what are their favorite Evangelion episodes. I remember Ms. Grant saying that her favorite was "Both of you dance like you want to win!" and Yuko saying that she liked that episode as well.

I'm not much of a con-goer myself, and I don't know if I really would like to meet any of the voice actors in particular. Would be interesting to, but I wouldn't go out of my way.

And while the entire subject of Grant's seemingly reverse Midas touch, the concept of Spike Spencer knowing about (and potentially having read)RE-Take strikes me as hilarious. I wonder what else of that nature he'd read. It's the first I've heard of it, so sorry if that's old news or anything. It could be that someone informed him of what it was, but even so, I imagine that it'd still be an interesting conversation.
