Well, finally did the scanning.
Here are the two new Angels.
- Iblis' card
- Ooo, what could that big shadowy thing POSSIBLY be?
- Tank Guy A: Hey Takashi... Doesn't this feel oddly familiar?
Tank Guy B: Now that you mention it...
- Iblis interior illustration
- Shinji "I am having the STRANGEST feeling of deja vu..."
-Baraqijal's card
- Shinji: Misato-san... It's LOOKING at me!
- Baraqijal interior illustration
Baraqijal is actually pronounced, here, the same as if it were written Barakiel. I'm not sure why they didn't use that spelling instead; it seems to be more 'standard' for the angel for which this shito was named.
On a completely random note, Baraqijal reminds me of the X-Virus Core-things from Metroid Fusion.
Maybe it's just me.
Two new human characters. First, we got that Marie Vincence chick.
- The attack of the 50-meter-tall transfer student!
- "Tee hee. What do you mean, my mouth is too high up?"
- Maya: Why are you looking at me like that? We weren't doing anything funny. Honest!
- Hikari: Shinji-kun! You made the transfer student cry!!
- "Oh, Shin-chan! I'm baaa-aack!
It doesn't actually say (in her introductory blurb, anyhow) that she is a "Sixth Children" -- just a "Children [= well-qualified person) who doesn't meet the standards". "An Eva pilot for the time being, but she has not participated in any actual fighting." 14-year old who was born in America... Prodigy with a Ph.D... Acts meek and polite, but it's only superficial -- she's haughty and domineering. Sounds a little too much like manga-Asuka for my tastes.
I dunno what's going on with this Eva Pilot business. There are no new Evas, no pics of her in a plug suit (sorry, boys), and no cards representing her (whereas the three main Children get cards). Who knows.
The other newbie is Commander Nicholaiev. Guess where HE'S from.
Oh course, they have him shouting stuff like "Khorosho!" amidst the fluent Japanese. No idea what the guy is doing in Japan, tho.
And now, just some random pics.
Hey, I think I saw this in a doujinshi once!
Color foldout of Tokyo-3 and stuff. Big file.
I might give ya'll scans of the first 42 pages eventually... These seem like they might contain info of some relevance or another.
Anyhow, enjoy. Maybe I'll pick up the second book sometime (this only covers Sachiel through Sahaquiel) and see if there's anything worthwhile in there...

Wow. Here I was expecting something kewl, like the Diemay Angel. Oh well, I guess you get whatever you deserve for expecting something so awesome, eh?
Anyway, thanks a bunch for the scans, Reichu, they're much appreciated by those guys like me who can't buy this stuff themselves.

(RE: #25) I suppose one could say the same of Leliel or Ireul. "They just don't fit!" The only real rule is that no two are the same. At least Iblis fits in better than the Eleventeenth Angel.
I wonder what ya'll would think of the other two known AU Angels?

AFAIK, neither of them have actual names. Yamashita designed one for the first Saturn game (I'll scan his drawings later). You can see the triphasic Second Impression one here.
We ought to give proper angelic names to the Saturn and Diemay angels, just for fun.
