I've not seen the show, but from what I understand, one of the characters looks suspiciously like Rei Ayanami, what with the blue hair and eye bandage and such.

This is a fanservice anime, isn't it? They're trying to turn it into an "adolescent comedy"? O_o

This is probably bound to be the otaku's Snakes on a Plane.

Oh snap this sounds bad! I never even heard of this anime until now so this is a little suprising that it got chosen.

The resemblance is only superficial, nor does Mou-chan behave anything like Rei.

I have no hope for this one, as it will almost certainly not include any of the things I actually liked about the series.

And then you have the infamous Yuri rape scene. Along with Hakufu basically having sex with Mou-chan in the OVA. Even if Hakufu didn't know that's what she was doing. Ikki Tousen is way too fanservice oriented to pull off on the big screen without totally changing it.

As a movie this is doomed to fail. As a porno, it would be average.
