Uhhh... Just bumping this in honor of the fact that I plan to start up those "references to and from Evangelion" pages sometime soon. No doubt Nadia had an influence on how Anno made Eva.

Let's not forget the famous shot of the beach. While not used as often in Nadia as in Eva, it is almost identical in both. There seems to be a subtle attempt at an assertion of intent, if not merely an example of recycling.
