Something tells me that talking about Brazil is annoying, but sometimes I just feels like asking people somethings 'cause I really don't know how the world sees us.

Well, who has seen City of God (Cidade de Deus)?

Basically, the story is in the 60's in Rio de Janeiro. More precisely in the favela city of god.
It's about how people live in there, and the choices of the characters, including Zé Pequeno (I still don't agree with "Li'l Zé"... but it's translation is precise), a minor drug dealer who gets power and transforms itself into the most feared drug dealer in the region.

City of God is such a stunning film. I can't recommend it highly enough.

I saw it once and was thoroughly impressed. I then attempted a second viewing and fell asleep. Just one of those things.
